Florida Panthers

When designing for the Panthers, I immediately thought of the vibrant vaporwave aesthetic that defined the Miami Vice era. I wanted to channel that boldness into the work and fuse it with retro-futuristic elements inspired by 1980s film posters. Touches of the team’s signature red, blue, and flat gold colorway runs throughout the graphics, creating striking contrast between typography and subject. Chromatic blurs, threshold effects, and gritty textures add intensity and weight, while subtle references to Florida’s natural landscape are layered into the backgrounds and overlays.

The theme is overall designed to feel confident and expressive—capturing the spirit of both the team and the panther itself.
