Born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, I hold the Dallas Stars close to my sport-loving heart. This project challenged me to imagine how I could contribute to a sports team with my creative perspective.
Inspired by design cues from vintage merchandise and memories of growing up with the Stars, the concepts explore two distinct creative directions rooted in retro-futurism.

Dystopia draws inspiration from Fahrenheit 451, 1980s sci-fi poster art, and post-apocalyptic retro-futurism.
The concept surrounds immersion and controlled chaos. Distorted textures and glitch-inspired motion intend to create movement, tension, and unease.

Project 1999 taps into the energy of the Dallas Stars' 1998–1999 season and their first Stanley Cup win. The concept blends camcorder and 35 mm film visuals with Gen X soft-club influences to create a warm and nostalgic landscape.
As a complement to Dystopia, this concept aims to feel more wistful and personal, adding a soft touch to the Stars' social identity.
